I was very much decided about our Peppa Pig birthday party decor. The opening scene from Peppa Pig episodes had to be recreated with the house, bright sky and the sun. With some easy hacks to make the backdrop and ready-to-use decorations from Pretty Ur Party, I was able to complete decorating the entire room within 2 hours.

Peppa Pig House and Sky Backdrop
I have already shared how I made the Peppa Pig house using a cardboard box. For the backdrop, I used a blue bedsheet that I could re-use for the kids bedroom later. All resources at the end.
It is easier to create the backdrop flat and then hang it up. So I laid the bed sheet flat and taped all the decor first. The honeycomb ball from Pretty Ur Party became our 3D ‘Sun’. A flat piece of paper can simply not give that effect. Yellow crepe paper streamers became the sun rays.
Cloud shapes cut from plain white paper made the clouds. I used strong double sided tape to hold them. The sun (honeycomb ball) is heavy and other tapes were not able to hold it. Another option is to sew or pin the decorations on the fabric. Peppa’s house sits on a grassy hill. I recreated this by covering the table with a green bedsheet to resemble the hill.
Our Plush pig family (check resources at the end) brought alive the decor along with our pretend food that Lil Sis received for Christmas. Peppa, George, Mummy and Daddy Pig were having their own party 🙂
And completing our decor was the Peppa Pig themed flag bunting from pretty Ur party personalized with the Birthday Girl’s name!
Peppa Pig Wall Decorations
Other than the main backdrop and decor, I wanted to do one more area – a wall. My party room is a long room and all the games and activities have this wall as the backdrop. So I wanted this wall to also be decorated well as it was going to feature in most of the pictures.
I wanted the decor to be filled with characters from the TV show but couldn’t find them anywhere. To my pleasant surprise, Pretty Ur Party informed me that they can create any type of custom cutouts for me! Hurray! I gave them a list of names and they came up with the perfect cutouts to decorate the entire party area with. Not just Peppa and her family, we also wanted Grandpa and Granny Pig for our ‘Grandpa Pig’s Garden’ game.
The party room came alive with these cutouts and it was the birthday girl’s favorite feature. She couldn’t stop crying out each name and wouldn’t leave that part of the room. We have preserved the cutouts and they will now be used to decorate her play area on a covered area of our terrace which already has her play tent and some other play things. The giant butterflies above the cutouts are actually table mats that I bought years ago. I use them to decorate large areas during birthday parties.

The cutouts and the bunting were not the only thing I ordered from Pretty Ur Party. Every other party area, be it the food table or the return gifts station, came into our theme with pretty Peppa pig themed party supplies from their website.

The buffet labels added so much fun and color to the food table.
The ‘Happy Birthday’ posters were used at the food table and the entrance. The food picks were used in pretty much every place!
Also from Pretty Ur Party came in the Peppa Pig tableware. Other than Peppa themed supplies, I also ordered balloons and candles.
We needed a sea of balloons! The green ones formed the ‘trees’.
The large, polka dotted pink balloons were a big favorite with the birthday girl and were used, along with another cutout poster, to decorate the Party Favor station that was created on my step ladder.

Wow the decoration is awesome. You tried to create each & every points of Peppa pig. My most favourite part was the cutout of peppa & family cutout which special done by “pretty ur party”. DIY decorations really makes birthdays more special. Very well executed the theme party. Pretty Ur party has got awesome collections, right from the birthday banner to wall decorations, all is as per the theme.
