Beauty and Makeup Subscription boxes are so addicting! My Fab Bag for the month of June is here and I have found some favorites in it. Here’s what’s in my bag this month and quick reviews of each product.
Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Crayon – Shade: The Boss (Rs. 1200)
Karite Buerre Pure Shea Butter (Rs. 499)
Nyassa Tea Tree Face Wash (Rs. 400)
Skin Yoga Coffee Body Scrub (Rs. 845)
Be a Bombshell Eye Shadow Crayon
This full sized eye shadow crayon by Be a Bombshell Cosmetics was a personalized choice. Fab Bag contacted me in advance and asked me to select my favorite shade to add to the Fab Bag. That means I knew this product would be there and I was still very excited as I haven’t used eye crayons before.
The shade is a shimmery copper and is super glamorous. It is a little lighter than I had expected but looks very good. The creamy consistency of the crayon makes it very easy to apply on eyelids directly. My on-the-go makeup kit never carried an eye shadow because of the decided lack of ease in applying it anywhere (I used to double my lipstick as eye shadow and blush sometimes) but this crayon is going to change that. You can pull it out of your bag any apply is without any hassles. This shade plus the concept of an eye crayon, both get a thumbs up!
PURE Shea Butter
Next up is a sample sized tub of Shea Butter by Karite Buerre (which translates to ‘Shea Butter’. The website listed on the tub is not active so I could not get any more information on the brand but the shea butter is of top quality and smells heavenly. Since it is summer and I am not ailing with dried lips and such, the tub is going to be emptied on my pregnancy stretch marks.
Nyassa Tea Tree Face Wash
Nyassa is a well known brand and I wanted to love this product, but alas, it is best suited for oily skin. While I have a combination skin that leans towards dry (especially after the age of 30), I need products that keep it nourished. While the face wash containing tea tree oil is great for pimple and acne prone skin, it doesn’t work wonders for dry or combination skin.
Coffee Scrub by Skin Yoga
If you follow my blog or instagram feed, you will know that I make no secret about being addicted to scrubs. So you can imagine I was jumping with joy when I saw this product. A body scrub – and a coffee scrub at that! Coffee and chocolate products always make me feel excited.
The scrub was everything I expected it to be. I am reviewing it in a separate post since I cannot be done in a ‘quick’ review as I mentioned at the opening of the article. The aromatic scrub does a great job of exfoliation and leaves skin glowing and supple.
‘Too Glam’ Makeup Pouch by Fab Bag
One thing that separates Fab Bag from other beauty subscriptions is that they send their products in a pouch. Every month, I look forward to seeing which pouch I receive. This month’s pouch could be their best yet! I am in love with the pouch and love how it packs loads of attitude!
