Summer fashion in India calls for a whole new wardrobe! Mommies all over India are busy trying to keep cool, comfortable and chic at the same time. Here is a round up of some of my outfits during the summer months. From Ethnic Indian to fusion, everyday to party, there is a mix of different outfits I remembered to get pictures clicked in.
This hand blocked button-front tunic top is an excellent piece to add to a fusion wardrobe. The ethnic print and the western fit are very flattering. The sleeves can be rolled up for summer and rolled down for winter.

Stopping on a hot Indian summer afternoon for some sugarcane juice is always a good idea! I am loving the brand Anouk. Not only are their creations super affordable but they also make them in real sizes for real women who have real curves. I love not having to buy the last size…lol!
I have paired a blue kurti with roll-up sleeves and a shirt-collar with a multi-colored palazzo bottom I picked up from Big Bazaar. Cool and breezy all the way!

Bad lighting, bad angle – but I had little time to click a picture before the guests arrived and here it is! For a dinner party at home, I wore this black and white floral dress that I picked up from the Patong Beach market in Phuket.

For the ‘World Dance Day’ party at my Zumba center, I chose this Red ‘batwing’ top by Debenhams and paired it with my blue jeans.

Another lovely Kurti by Anouk, this one lends itself beautifully to very Indian details like a loose braid, bangles and lovely jhumkis for the ears.
